Time Capsule Challenge

Time Wasted Can Never Be Regained.

There are roughly 720 hours within a month. On average, Individuals spend approximately 180 - 240 hours a month (6 - 8 hrs/day) sleeping. That leaves about  480 - 540 hours a month of being awake for individuals to utilize in whatever way they see fit. Whether you spend it working, attending school, taking care of hygiene needs, creating the next big invention, etc. It all takes away from the same roughly estimated 500 hours a month that is left over.  Unfortunately, many people spend a lot of this time watching Television.

According to a study by the Nielsen Company, African-Americans, black people, spend an estimated 211 hours 10 minutes of television per month watching Television.  That is the highest amount of television viewership by any demographic, a whopping 37% higher than any other demographic and a little under 1/3 of the month spent watching television.

Picture
Television is considered to be a one way medium of communication which value is dependent on its current programming. Currently there appears to be a minimal level of intellectual quality of shows on most channels at any given time. Therefore, people who spend a high amount of time watching television will inherently, not be able utilize that time with personal development and enrichment of their quality of life.

The time spent watching and consuming television can be better used by an individual to help them grow, pursue other endeavors, desires, improve their lives and their love ones lives as well. Whether it’s more money to buy products, save for a vacation, plan to pursue their dreams, etc. it doesn’t matter, the time can be used more effectively to achieve one's dreams and aspirations.

It is with that understanding that we are launching the Time Capsule Challenge.

We are challenging YOU to take CONTROL of your TIME.

We are challenging you to stop watching one of the shows listed below for 1 month and to complete a life improvement task during that time slot. You are free to choose more than one if you like.

It doesn't matter whether you are creating one for the first time or simply updating a previously made life improvement task. It will improve your quality of life over time and show you the power that a simply act can have. It will show you have the power, when you decide to use it, to take control of your time and destiny. We aren't just going to tell you to do it either. Resources for completing each task are available by clicking each link.
